Well, 2007 was quite the year for graduations!!!! As you can see, Nicole graduated from Mountain View, Sunny graduated from the College of Nevada and Jacob graduated from the University of Las Vegas. All of them graduated with honors. As it is one of the most proud moments of a mom's life to watch those she loves graduate after all the hard work and years that lead up to it, it is also bittersweet as she realizes that her family is growing up and moving on in life. I have to admit that I have shed a few tears this past month watching "my babies" move on to that next step. But I wouldn't have it any other way!!!! Nicole is going to continue on at Arizona State University with a full tuition waiver and scholarship from the Mana club. Jacob is now in Flagstaff pursuing his degree in Physical Therapy at Northern Arizona University, and Sunny is now a full fledged Sonogram technician working at the hospital in Flagstaff enjoying the job she has always wanted & dreamed of having. CONGRATS & Carpe Diem my little graduates . . . I LOVE YOU ALL!!!!
Mom. I watched the movie Failure to Launch yesterday and got the idea... Instead of moving on, why don't we just move in upstairs. It's a Win/Win situation really. You won't have to worry about us moving on, and we won't have to pay rent. Savy?!?
Wow that is a lot of grads! Congrats to all of you! I can relate, it was exciting and sad to have Hillary graduate. I'm glad I still have Cayden at home or I'd be done in. I dread the day they are both on their own. I guess we live our lives for our kids. I feel sad for people who can't wait till their kids leave. PS. What is the Mana club? PSS I'm glad you've updated - we miss you! Now i need to get my act together and update mine more than once every few months!
Collette, I loved catching up on you and your family. Holly pointed me to your blog when I told her I really needed to get your whole wheat bread recipie. the one you and Monique used to make every day in the bread maker. Do you still make it? Would you share? I would love to get together with you and 'granny Crum' . We had some fun times! I am in Tucson now, but Glen and I come up first and third weekends to work in the Temple.(I thought they were only old people who work in the temple.) anyway, lets plan a lunch date.
